Montgomery Pass Trail
This is a short, easy walk to a grand expanse of Colorado high country. Like all high-altitude hikes, start this one on a cloudless morn. Doing so gives youngsters ample time to roam this mountain-top landscape, including stops to investigate the intimate views at their feet.
