Located in southwest Colorado in the La Plata Mountains, about 25 miles northwest of Durango, and 15 miles northeast of Mancos. This alpine peak - requiring a strenuous day hike, mostly off trail on talus and scree, with a final scramble an a ridge - requires orienteering skills.
