Monarch Lake to Brainard Lake Trail
Outside RMNP, this hike offers anything from an easy lakeside, wetlands, and meadow stroll to a challenging out-and-back trek to Pawnee Pass in the Indian Peaks on the east side of the Continental Divide or even a point-to-point adventure over the divide and to Brainard Lake. Along the way expect to hike next to a sparkling stream and to savor picturesque lakes. The trail is in Arapaho National Forest and is adjacent to RMNP.
