These peaceful falls are tucked back in a quiet drainage in the Arapaho National Forest. The water cascades year-round-in spring the pools are full and water spills vigorously down the rocks; in autumn, the stream moves slowly, trickling from basin to basin. The gentle trail wanders along Maxwell Creek through ponderosa and lodgepole forest, punctuated by the occasional small aspen grove.
