A beautiful hike up and through the foothills of Matthews/Winters Open Space Park. This hike takes you past the old cemetery and townsite of Mt. Vernon, through open meadows filled with wildflowers with spectacular views to the north, east to Green Mountain and Dakota Ridge, and south to Pikes Peak.
