Mary Moore Loop Trail
This trail is a combination of the Moore Fun Trail and Marys Loop in the Colorado Canyons National Conservation Area west of Grand Junction. This wonderful trail climbs to the top of a small mountain with panoramic views of much of the Colorado River basin in the western reaches of the state, with glimpses toward the Book Cliffs, the Grand Mesa, and the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness. Part of the trail travels right next to the mighty Colorado River and follows a colorful sandstone cliff along a wide, open mesa. The trails are a part of the mountain bike–inspired Kokopellis Loop Trail Area. As this is a multiuse area, be sure to respect all the users of the trails and have fun out here.
