Maroon Creek Trail
This creekside trail takes hikers on a quiet, sometimes roaring passage through the varied ecosystems of Maroon Bells. Less hiked than its trailhead partner, Maroon Lake Trail, the Maroon Creek Trail heads down valley through dense conifer forest, rocky slopes, wildflower meadows, and aspen glens and over several streams. Hikers can do a shorter trip where a footbridge leads to the road and a shuttle bus stop. Before heading out, check the bus schedule to time your arrival either here or at the trail’s end.
