Manitou Park Lake
Woodland Park, CO

Manitou Park Lake
Easy to reach and easy to enjoy, little Manitou Park Lake is a pleasant diversion from the rigors of the high country. Little more than a stroll, this short hike allows visitors ample opportunity to view the stark north face of Pikes Peak, and to picnic and fish in an alpine setting. The willowy wetlands along the south shore of the lake, transected by snaking Trout Creek, harbor a variety of songbirds and waterfowl, as well as wildflowers and shrubbery that blooms in abundant and colorful profusion in spring and early summer.
