M. Walter Pesman Trail— Mount Goliath Natural Area

Mount Goliath Natural Area contains subalpine and alpine ecosystems along Mount Evans Road. The M. Walter Pesman Trail winds and climbs through an ancient bristlecone pine forest (some trees are over 1,500 years old) in the natural area. It crosses alpine tundra with fantastic tiny wildflowers (peak bloom mid-July) to the upper trailhead.
