Stunning scenery, sheer-walled falls, soaring peaks, perfectly set lakes and a “century” trail make for a wonderful hike. Over 100 species on the Mohawk Lake Trail offer wildflower lovers a trek of superb wildflowers. This trail description begins at the upper trailhead reached via a rough, rocky road with a couple of boulder obstacles, making the use of a high clearance vehicle advisable. Wildflower Alert: Fabulous flowers lead to spirit-lifting waterfalls and lakes on this delightful trail.
