Linkins Lake Trail
Aspen, CO

Linkins Lake Trail
Breathtaking, both visually and physically, best describes this short but steep climb to an alpine lake. Close-up looks at the flowers that jewel the tundra as well as sweeping views of the Continental Divide make this huff-’n’-puff hike a memory worth recording on film. Plan this hike for early in the day before the often-severe afternoon thunderstorms. Rain gear is recommended on all hikes above timberline, where weather conditions change rapidly.
