Larimer County: Devil’s Backbone Trail
The Devil’s Backbone is a small section of the hogbacks found up and down the Front Range. The hogbacks are remnants of an ancient exposed seafloor that has been honed by the elements over thousands of years. It’s an easy, well-maintained trail right outside of Loveland on the way to Estes Park (Rocky Mountain National Park).
