Kreutzer Nature Trail & Mount McConnel Summit
Learn about the diverse forces that shape and lace the Poudre Canyon on this interpreted loop trail. Families with youngsters enjoy the Kreutzer Nature Trail’s gentle climb through a variety of forests. Those with eager and able hikers continue on to ascend Mount McConnel, where views of the Mummy Range and Rocky Mountain National Park are superb. Plan to walk the interpreted trail at Mountain Park where fishing access and equipment are provided for children.
