Judd Falls via Copper Lake Trail
Gothic, CO

Judd Falls via Copper Lake Trail
A pleasant travel through wildflowers, this short hike ends up at an overlook of free-falling whitewater. About 80 species appear on the mile-long trail. Marvelous views of massive Gothic Mountain and a seasonal waterfall flowing down its rugged cliff face add to the enjoyment. The trail heads east up a dirt road flanked by a flower-filled meadow, passing a seep to arrive at another parking area. It then undulates south to reach the gorge where you’ll find Judd Falls. Wildflower Alert: A lush flowery beginning leads to rock gardens and a refreshing waterfall.
