Holzworth Historic Site
Holzworth Historic Site’s landscape and original homestead— the family’s cabins, taxidermy shop, icehouse, and woodshed— tell the story of early dude ranching in Colorado. For children, it’s the story of a rusted bear trap and a stuffed deer, a hand-operated washing machine, and a foot-pumped sewing machine. It’s an encounter with turn-of-the-twentieth-century ranch life.
