Hollowell Park Trailhead: Mill Creek Balloon
Loop hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park are rare, so this small balloon hike is a nice change of pace. The fall colors along the Mill Creek Basin are striking because of the patches of aspens that make their home here. Novice hikers will appreciate the scenery and the ease of this trail. Seasoned hikers like this trail for its access to other areas of the park, its beauty, and the surprising lack of crowds even with the proximity to the park entrance.
