Highline Trail
Traversing a hillside overlooking the Snowmass Valley, the Highline Trail is a pleasant romp through the fragrant scrubland that covers the Roaring Fork Valley at lower elevations. Most pleasant either in the morning, before the day grows too warm, or in the late afternoon, when the settling sun paints the mountains pink and orange, this trail sees little traffic, and offers a pleasant alternative to the evergreen forests that shade most of the area’s hiking trails.
