Gunnison and Pitkin Counties: Castle Peak
Located in central Colorado in the Elk Mountains, about 12 miles south of Aspen, and 4 miles east of East Maroon Pass. This long day hike on trail and scree leads to a small, rocky Fourteener summit with the option of a nearby Fourteener subpeak. This eTrail will guide you to the highest point in this Colorado county. Inside you will find clear directions to the trailhead and to the summit.
