Grizzly Creek Gulch
A remarkably friendly way to reach the interior of the otherwise formidable Glenwood Canyon, the trail enters a side canyon cut by the rushing Grizzly Creek. The first 0.25 mile is suitable for kids, but the trail later gets more challenging. As the path climbs toward a series of waterfalls, it parallels the stream and is flanked by massive, colorful canyon walls showcasing some of Colorado’s complex geology. Note that part of the trail is open to mountain bikers, but the whole path is closed to ATVs.
