Greyrock Trail
Greyrock Mountain is a big ol’ granite dome above Poudre Canyon, and the fun loop trail to the summit makes a great day hike. The hike travels over well-maintained tread to a peaceful meadow, then up and over some huge boulders to the summit and great views to the east. The trail starts in the lower reaches of the ruggedly scenic Poudre Canyon, and crosses right over the Cache la Poudre River. The river offers fantastic fishing and whitewater rafting, and many campsites along its banks provide opportunity for extended stays in the canyon.
