Green Mountain Loop
Rising impressively along the Front Range, the Flatirons provide a dramatic backdrop for the city of Boulder. They also form the centerpiece for the beautiful and surprisingly wild Boulder Mountain Park. With many miles of backcountry trails, this park is also a worthwhile destination for hikers. A good and challenging route explores Gregory Canyon along a loop that follows three different trails. Collectively, the entire hike constitutes the Green Mountain Loop.
