Garden of the Gods: Perkins Central Garden Loop Trail
A garden walk among the park’s most stunning red rock spires is what you can expect from this paved, wheelchair-accessible trail. Although a camptosaurus skull was found here in 1886, the park’s sandstone formations reflect geologic history eons before the dinosaurs arrived. Intriguing shapes and coloration throughout the park spark the imaginations of all hikers. Before hiking, plan a stop at the park’s recently built visitor center to see the exhibits and film “How Did Those Red Rocks Get There?”
