French Pass
Jefferson, CO

French Pass
Alluding to the presence of nineteenth-century French trappers in the Colorado Rockies, French Pass provided one of the easier crossing points over the Continental Divide between South Park and the Blue River drainage to the north. Today, the little known French Pass Trail offers hikers moderately easy access to the Divide and to some memorable montane scenery.
