Flatirons Vista and Doudy Draw Trail
The walk across the mesa is truly a seasonal hike best done in early spring when the meadows are abloom with sego lilies, lupine, penstemon, and Indian paintbrush in quick and colorful succession. This is also a perfect evening hike on a late summer afternoon as the sun begins to set behind the tree-covered mountains, washing them and the dramatic sandstone cliffs west of Boulder.
