Eugenia Mine
The site of the Eugenia Mine lies on the flanks of Longs Peak, but it is not the behemoth that dominates views from the trail. Rather, the rock-crowned summit of the Estes Cone highlights the skyline wherever the trees part long enough to allow views. The trail to the mine is quite easy. The climb is gradual and interspersed with short downhill sections. You'll hardly know you're climbing.
