Elk Meadow Open Space Park: Sleepy S Loop Trail
As the name suggests, Elk Meadow’s trail system is home to elk and deer. Hiking the Sleepy S Loop almost guarantees deer sightings. Perhaps it’s the secluded pine forest or the meadow and mountain views that attracts the deer and sometimes the elk. Either way, it’s a beautiful place to call home and a beautiful place for a moderate hike.
