El Paso Creek Trail to Uncompahgre Peak
An uncrowded alternative route to the summit of a fourteener, with fine views to the high peaks of the Uncompahgre Wilderness. This hike is a little-traveled alternative route to the summit of Uncompahgre Peak. It shares the last mile of the southeast ridge of Uncompahgre Peak with the much more crowded Uncompahgre Peak Trail, but until the ridge you may well have this hike to yourself.
