East Snowmass Creek
A long day hike or overnighter to the upper basin of Willow Creek. This trail leads up into a valley of barren crags and windswept tundra, then crosses a pass to reach the basin that bears Willow Lake. The trail may be a bit faint in the upper reaches of the valley; be prepared to use your topo map. The trail may be approached as a long but rewarding day hike to the Willow Creek divide, or may be combined with the Willow Lake and Buckskin Pass trails for longer rambles through the high country.
