This stroll is ideal for photographers who don’t want a major adventure but are looking for a real treat. The short trail offers several nice vantage points of the waterfall and the arroyo in which it resides. The lush meadows and wetlands just around the bend of the East Inlet Trail will tempt you to take a longer hike. You can take the trail for enjoyable hikes of almost any length, even an 11-mile trek to beautiful Lone Pine Lake or 17 miles one-way over the Continental Divide to Wild Basin if you like bushwhacking and route-finding, or take the all-day moderate hike to Lone Pine Lake.
