Deer Creek Open Space Park: Meadowlark Plymouth Creek Loop Trail
Deer Creek Canyon has a good mix and 12.2 miles of multiuse trails, but the Hiker Only options are what really attract pedestrians. This is a popular location, close to Denver with access all year, and it can be quite crowded with mountain bikes. No bikes are allowed on the Meadowlark Trail, where hikers can enjoy a gradual climb, sunny exposure, southern views of Denver, and views of the Dear Creek valley.
