Coyote, Mule Deer, & Elk Trails Loop
Although for many years this state park was not well developed for recreation, it has finally been expanded into a hidden treasure easily accessible from the Denver, Boulder, and Golden areas. The park offers mellow trails for hiking and biking, abundant wildflowers in spring, spectacular vistas of the Front Range, and a broad range of almost every type of tree seen in the mountains of Colorado. The rampant aspen make it a superb place to visit in the fall. This route in particular is an excellent spring wildflower loop.
