Cow Creek Trailhead: Bridal Veil Falls
A gentle trail gives way to a strenuous push on the last portion of this uncrowded, undiscovered beauty. More like a bridezilla than a bride, the Bridal Veil Falls crash into Cow Creek, plummeting more than 20 vertical feet from a broken rock face—the tallest falls in the park. Spring is the best time of year to visit the falls since the recent snowmelt contributes to the falls torrent. The shoulder seasons are also nice since this is a sunny hike that can be quite warm in the summer. Outstanding Features: Thundering waterfall; meadow and alpine landscape; historical ranch
