Courthouse Mountain
Ridgeway, CO

Courthouse Mountain
An excellent steep hike to an exposed summit with 360-degree views. Courthouse Mountain is really more than an easy hike because of its considerable steepness and exposure, but its short length makes it accessible to most hikers. A speedy hiker can complete the round trip in about two hours. Not a subtle trail, it climbs steeply nearly from start to finish and yields fine views of the volcanic terrain around the West Fork Valley. This is a popular hike, so be prepared for some company on a fine summer day.
