Corral Creek Trailhead: Poudre River Trail to Cache Campsite
A better campsite couldn’t be dreamt up. Cache Campsite is close to perfect. It is tucked into the trees at the edge of a mountain meadow in a high valley, surrounded by mountain peaks with a river running through it. This moderate 5.85-mile hike to Cache along the Cache la Poudre River is also a gem in its own right. There are open valleys and plentiful big game, especially deer and moose. Outstanding Features: Rivers, creeks, wildlife, high mountain peaks; unique access on north side of Rocky Mountain National Park
