Columbine Trail
The Columbine Trail offers a perfect solution for groups of eager trailblazers mixed with not-so-certain toddlers: While one adult and the youngsters explore the Helen Hunt Falls area near the trailhead, another adult can lead hikers down the Columbine Trail. At a prearranged time, say, 1.5 hours, the adult with the waterfall explorers drives to Columbine Trail’s midpoint parking area, where the group reunites.
