Caribou Ranch Loop
The trails of Caribou Ranch Open Space not only wind through excellent wildlife habitat, but also take you on a historic journey into the mining era of the 1870s, past an old homestead, and along a scenic railroad route of the early 1900s. This moderate trail starts in a ponderosa pine and Douglas fir forest. During your hike you’ll circle a beautiful meadow and learn about willow carrs and wetlands from interpretive signs at different overlooks.
