Bridal Veil Falls
Estes Park, CO

Bridal Veil Falls
You have an excellent chance of spotting elk along Cow Creek on the way to Bridal Veil Falls, particularly in winter, so if you have a telephoto lens and tripod, haul them along. The extra effort could yield a prize-winning photo. Fortunately, the trail to the falls seems relatively easy. The path meanders west from the trailhead, usually staying in the open meadows that are vital sources of food for elk. Usually free of winter snow, the path can be rather warm in the summer. Using sunscreen is a good idea throughout the year. Highlights: Aspen-lined Cow Creek, Bridal Veil Falls.
