Bluebell Mesa Loop
This popular path, both easy to hike and scenic, might be also called "Lover's Loop." It's a wonderful jaunt that begins and ends in the beautiful meadow that sweeps down from the base of the First Flatiron, a trail that attracts hikers ready for a workout, nature lovers and the amorous, who walk hand-in-hand through the wildflowers. Springtime in the meadow brings forth the obvious-a bevy of colorful that rivals any display along the Front Range. Among those flowers you'll find...um...grass, and colorfully dressed couples enjoying both the beauty and the company. Oh yes-there are also great views from the trail of the high plains to the east and the majestic Flatirons to the west.
