Big Blue Trail to Slide Lake and Beyond
Fine fishing and a relatively easy trail. The Big Blue Trail follows a long, straight stream valley into the heart of the wilderness area near Uncompahgre Peak. While it is one of the more popular day hikes in the Uncompahgre, an overnight stay to enjoy the excellent fishing is also recommended.
