Eight Ball Trail
New Bullards Bar Reservoir, 65 miles southeast of Chico. This ride is a great introduction to most of the trails around New Bullards Bar Reservoir. It includes Eight Ball Trail, Rebel Ridge Trail, and the easier portions of Bullards Trail. Most of the ride is smooth singletrack under forest canopy. Drinking water and toilets are available at several spots along the way. the ride begins and ends at a picnic area with access to the reservoir for swimming. New Bullards Bar Reservoir also offers opportunities for boating, fishing, and camping (Call 530-693-3200 for campsite reservations).
