Bear Wallow Trail
Named for the large number of bear wallows that settlers found here in the late 1800s, the Bear Wallow Wilderness Area encompasses a pristine drainage system, complete with productive trout streams and virgin stands of timber. Running adjacent to Bear Wallow Creek, the 7.6-mile Bear Wallow Trail provides a handy route for exploring the length of the wilderness.
