Greek Islands Family Adventure

Immerse yourself and your family in the mythological land of Greek Gods and its archaeological wonders while exploring the most beautiful islands in Greece. Starting in Athens, we climb the famous steps up to the ancient ruins of the Acropolis before speeding off to the islands of Mykonos and Santorini. On Mykonos we hike by the amazing ruins of the UNESCO world heritage site, Delos, some say to be the birthplace of the Greek Gods Apollo and Artemis. On Santorini, world famous for its dramatic crater and connection to the legendary lost city of Atlantis, we kayak, swim and play day and night. We'll learn how to make famous Greek specialties like tzatziki sauce to be enjoyed during a beach barbecue. Our guide will be sure to delight kids with fun activities to learn about Greek culture, the historic alphabet and the origins of democracy. We'll even make our own Greek worry bead bracelet to take home as a souvenir of our adventure. Each day we walk winding footpaths, soak up huge vistas, enjoy fun swims in the warm, blue waters and delight in scrumptious meals. Leave the "go go" of our daily lives at home and embrace the Greek "go slow" approach to life…as the Greeks say "siga siga" – meaning slow, slow. Adapting to this tempo, we will share quality family time together in a land with unforgettable scenery, a charming culture and magnificent historical riches. The ancient Greeks had it right: Life really doesn't get any better than this!
