I have an older 3 layer goretex shell that has been laundered enough so that the goretex seam tape is all falling off and the dwr finish needs refreshing. I can deal with the dwr finish myself, but I would like to know if there is a repair service that can replace the seam tape? The shell is otherwise in excellent condition.

@Barksbackwards , I recommend checking out Rainy Pass Repair. They are a company based in Washington State but will repair garments and gear that are sent to them by mail. Their website is http://rainypass.com/ and details of how to send in your shell for repair can be found there. I hope this helps! Happy Adventuring!

I have a similar question about an REI shell I purchased a few years ago. A seam at the bottom of a pocket is coming apart so that my fingers stick through the pocket. This is an inside seam. It looks like I should be able to just glue it back together, but want to know what glue I should use.
