  1. REI-exclusive HydroWall 2-layer waterproof/breathable nylon shell with fully sealed seams provides burly weather protection
  2. Nonfluorinated durable water repellent (DWR) helps moisture bead up on the surface
  3. Body-mapped down and synthetic insulation optimizes weight, compressibility and warmth
  4. 850-fill-power goose down is highly compressible and provides abundant warmth for its light weight; it's also treated with a nonfluorinated DWR to help it resist moisture
  5. 180 g recycled-fiber synthetic insulation in hem and cuffs (80 g in hood, sleeves and side panels) is mapped to areas of high heat because it insulates when wet and dries fast
  6. Bonded baffles welded to the shell trap warmth and eliminate cold spots
  7. Insulated, helmet-friendly hood is 3-way adjustable, and a sleeping-bag-style draft tube at the neck stops heat from escaping
