Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight cycling bag Bought this to carry a lightweight laptop and some clothes while commuting. Not entirely sure what use case Osprey had in mind but I could see this bag working equally well for cycling and hiking. The main compartment is large enough for a small laptop, lunch, and a shell. The organizer pocket has room for cell phone, wallet, keys, etc. and features loops for holding a bike pump upright. I haven't used the bladder yet so I can't provide accurate feedback. Keep in mind that this is a fairly small bag built with ultralight materials - it won't do well if you crash your bike regularly or drag it over boulders and don't expect to cram 20 lbs of really necessary hiking paraphanalia in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultimate Cycling Pack I'm 5'11" 165 and the M/L is the perfect size for me. This is the best backpack I've ever owned. I find the size is perfect for commuting to work. The mesh air pocket on the back is fantastic and really does keep my back from sweating. I pack pretty light and try to keep a pair of pants and shoes at work so as to keep the weight down, but even packed tight this bag feels light. Just keep in mind if you pack it too tight, the pack will bulge against the air pocket and part of it will touch your back, and that part of your back will sweat. If your deciding between this and the raptor for commuting, definitely go with this one. The raptor does not have the same kind of mesh air pocket, and when I saw it in the store it did not look like it would be nearly as good at preventing back sweat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from what an awesome cycling backback I commute to work and from work very often, one way is about 24km. I love this backback because of the compact size and how light it is. Because of the mesh back I can barely feel that the backpack is even there. I would highly recomend this backpack for cycling. The only thing that I wish is that it would come in different colors. As a female, I am not a fan of green or blue.. I got the green one because it was the only color left in the store. I would have preferred black over the very bright green, as such light green color gets dirty fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nearly Perfect Spent a long time looking for a backpack that could fit necessities for commuting by bicycle, or all day hikes and off road rides. The mesh straps have a great combination of padding and breathability and the suspended mesh back prevents my back from becoming a sweaty mess and helps keep me cool. My only real complaints are the waist straps, I don't always need them so I wish there were a way to remove them or stow them, and it can be difficult to find things in the middle pocket if they're all the way at the bottom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pack I've used this pack bicycling and hiking. I've tried many different backpacks over the years and Osprey is my favorite. I own two different models but this one is the most used. Great new design for the water reservoir. Easy to clean and fill.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought this my mistake I hike, but was looking for smaller but has little more space to carry things. This product looked great but just one try I had to return. For a longer hike I had at least 3 litter water which killed my shoulder.
