Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Cane out there! I recently had knee replacement surgery. I tried a folding cane but it wobbled more than I did. I decided to give this LEKI a try and I am glad I did. It is stable, light and the grip is awesome. I highly recommend this to anyone with similar circumstances who wants to get back outside on their favorite trails again as soon as they possibly can.

I'm skeptical about how much pressure the adjustments really hold. I'm scare with me pressure on the cane it can slide down. Any advise?

I am a 250 lb person and use two of these canes to walk and support my back. I have had no problem with locking mechanisms unless I unlocked one of the sections and did not sufficiently retighten them (my fault). They usually go down slowly so I have time to retighten them. I have used them for 2 years with no problems. I have walked many places with them in Europe and the USA and carried them on airplanes and other transport. They are also very light and easy to carry. The only problem I have had is walking on wet tiles and certain types of painted surfaces. Wet concrete and asphalt are no problem. I also put rubber tips on the canes to help with traction. I also recommend the anti-shock system for the canes which helps the hands and shoulders. I use gloves for long walks. Hope this helps!

Does REI sell replacement Flextips? Will standard cane replacement tips (from the pharmacy) fit?

Asked by: ps57
We do carry the Leki Carbide Universal Flex Tips. We are unable to confirm if standard cane tips are compatible with this staff.
