Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Husband I bought this a couple weeks ago. My husband had been using the day pack from his Farpoint 55. I have the women's Mira 18 from two years back that I'd been using. This new version made me jealous. It has the same suspension as my Aura 65. My husband put it on and said "wow." Got him out on the trail with me the same weekend. He said how much he loved the airflow along the back. He loved the fit and the lack of "shweatty back." LOL. Great buy! Now I want a new Mira 18!

I am looking for a pack that I can day hike with and that will fit under the seat of a commercial aircraft that I can use as a carry on. Will the MANTA AG™ 20 fit under the seat?

Asked by: RoderickMD
Underseat storage varies by aircraft, so this may depend on the type of commercial airliner you are flying in. However, in most cases this pack will fit in the underseat storage.

I am looking to take this pack hiking to NC over the summer. I won't be doing overnight hiking, just several hour hiking. Is this pack too big for a three-four hour hike? I will only be carrying a first aid kit, survival kit, knives, and snacks/water.

Asked by: Olivia
This pack is a great choice and will meet your needs.

I have been interested in the Manta AG 20 as a possible run commuting pack, I currently use the Rev 24 which is light and in general quite good.  What I do miss is some stability and compression.  Has anyone used this pack as a running pack?

Asked by: MarinRunner
The Manta AG 20 Hydration Pack is geared towards day hiking rather than running. If compression and stability are something you find lacking in the Rev line of running packs, then the hip belt and compression straps may give you the performance you're looking for.
