Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, huge car camping tent! Went back and forth between this tent and the Kingdom 8. Went with this for the single wall construction which I thought would be quicker for up and down. We got the footprint and two Nemo Victory Blankets to make up the floor. We use this as a very roomy two person tent. Queen size air mattress in the bedroom and the porch to hang out in when bugs come out. It come with six guy lines and I bought some extra because I was thinking it would turn to a windsail in breezy conditions. I guyed it out from all points intended as well as from the joints on the tent poles where they bracket in different direction. We camped in the desert and gusts got up to 30 mph or so and the tent didn't budge and we had no trees or anything to block wind in Cottonwood Canyon, OR. If it were winder I may guy it out in a few more spots, so I would recommend investing 15 bucks in guy cords. It does come with a few extra stakes but I picked up a few more. We are planning a two week road trip through Banff Jasper and will be using this as our headquarters. I read that setup was "wonky" and thought it would be difficult the first time, but we had it up and staked and guyed out in 15 minutes. Just know the short poles go in the corners and the obvious pre-curved pole is over the entrance. I set 3/4 up solo and my wife helped when she was finished with other stuff she was doing. With any wind you will need a second person to help, in calm conditions you could do it solo. From the first setup I learned you will want to ose the privacy screen between the two rooms first and close the windows. We didn't do this and after I guyed it out tight we couldn't close it and one window we could close. Ventilation was great, it didn't rain so I can't speak to the waterproofing, but I own other Nemo tents and stay dry. A dwr spay can always be applied after wear. We could stand up in all corners, we cooked breakfast in the screened porch and had room for 3 chairs and a small table with room for the dog to lay and we could all walk around. This is the first non-backpacking tent I have owned and me and my wife absolutely loved the way it changed our car camping experience. It was so nice to be able to hang out inside the tent and be so comfortable. Highly recommend this tent, with the added comforts of the victory blankets for a cabin like floor feel and extra guy lines because of the size it definitely needs to be guyed out well. I feel comfident we could comfortably sleep 4 to 6 people if we took away the huge air mattress and used the screen room as a bedroom. Hope this helps! Cheers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic tent Love this tent! I am 6' so finding a tent that is taller than me is a hard thing... It's attractive and very roomy. Love the screened in front with dividers (great for our dogs and chairs). I can't say how it holds up to wind or rain yet, but so far I am impressed!
