Read More Decent GPS, though it's accuracy wasn't as good as I'd have expected. But I really thought/hoped it (and the maps you can load into it) would show at least major trails (ones that had been around for decades). But it didn't, or in some cases showed some sections and not others for a well know/used trail. Returned it. -
Jan 9, 2016How to work it?I have had my garmin for over a month and still do not know how to use it. The print on instructions to small to read and do not appear adequate to explain process. $200 not well spent.

Read More This is a great little product and the Topo maps are great too. The huge problem with it is that in cold weather, it has to be carried in a pocket to keep the batteries warm, or it won't work, and if you put it in your pocket, the "thumb stick" always gets moved around. If it's off, no problem, but if you're "tracking" (saving your return route), it has to be on. It needs some kind of button-locking-standby feature.
Read More You have to literally hunt, peck and dig through menus and submenus just to find a function you want. I firmly believe that if there is not moving activity for more than 2 hours it needs an auto shut off to preserve battery. Cumbersome
