  • Heat-moldable shells adapt to feet for a superior fit that eliminates pressure points and improves performance; requires specialized equipment best done by boot fitters
  • Rigid lower shell provides power transmission where it's needed in the heels, along the sides of the feet and in the binding contact areas
  • Supple upper shell offers appropriate rigidity above the instep, in the progressively flexing cuffs, and in the supportive and flexing backbone of the shell
  • 24mm oversized pivot keeps pivot high on boot, driving more power throughout the sole of the boot, to better stay on the edge of wider skis
  • Pre-shaped liners grip ankles and heels without too much pressure, and custom-formable foam conforms under feet, over insteps and along shins for superior foothold
  • Women-specific liners feature a wider forefoot area, low volume around the ankle and heel and an upper cuff shaped for women's calf muscles
  • Energy screw plus calf adjuster and 4mm integrated lifter allow you to customizie the shell for enhanced performance
  • 4 micro aluminum buckles are lighter than traditional buckles and articulated for a better comfort
  • A flex index of 90 provides race-ready power transfer for performance-focused women skiers

Can I insert my custom orthotics into these boots without affecting the custom-formable foam under feet?

Asked by: skiier
The orthotic will pack out as your foot does. Please bring the boots into a ski shop or order the boots to an REI store to determine the fit with the orthotic first.

Will the heat-moldable shells in these boots work without going through the process of using the specialized equipment by boot fitters?

Asked by: skiier
The natural heat and pressure of your feet when you are skiing in these boots will mold the liners. 3-4 full days of skiing is usually enough to get a customized fit.

I am interested in this boot but would like to try it on. I am also interested in the Technica Mach 1 LV. I think I am a size 23. in women. I live in Sequim, WA but could come into Seattle. Would someone there be able to help with fit on these?

Asked by: Yoko
Any one of our associates in the ski department at the Seattle store will be more than happy to help you with these ski boots.
